Chaos in the Park Studio is located in St. Mary's County, Maryland, approximately 1.5 - 2 hours south of the Nation's capitol.
It is unique in many ways. A rural community with a rich history of family farming and Chesapeake Bay watermen, St. Mary's County history dates back to the early 1600's. It is the site of the first capitol of Maryland, St. Mary's City.
St. Mary's County is also the home of the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division as well as St. Mary's College of Maryland.
I often joke with friends that it takes me a while to get anywhere because I have to travel an hour north to go south. Direct south is not an option without a paddle!
Surrounded by water on three sides, the Patuxent and Potomac Rivers and the Chesapeake Bay, St. Mary's County is truly a beautiful place.
